Iowa High School Basketball - Johnston can't hold off Waukee

The Waukee Warriors basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Johnston Dragons to 49 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Warriors now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Waukee will battle a Tigers team coming off a 68-55 non-league win over Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-0.
The Dragons (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Southeast Polk nudged Des Moines North (Des Moines, IA), 74-72, in a non-league contest.
