Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Katahdin Cougars (Sherman Station, ME) and the host Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME), saw Katahdin's basketball squad wallop Lee Academy by a count of 73-49.

With the victory, Katahdin upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Fort Fairfield won 69-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME)

Next up, the Pandas play the Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Lee Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
