The Toms River East Raiders basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Manchester Township Hawks to 39 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Raiders now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wall Township for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 26. Toms River East will meet a Crimson Knights team coming off a 52-50 non-league loss to Point Pleasant Boro (Point Pleasant, NJ). The Crimson Knights record now stands at 1-2.

The Hawks (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Manalapan was defeated by Rumson-Fair Haven (Rumson, NJ), 69-46, in a non-league contest.
