The Manchester Township Hawks basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Toms River East Raiders to 45 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hawks now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern Regional for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Manchester Township will battle a Rams team coming off a 57-42 non-league win over Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 6-3.
The Raiders (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Lacey Township was defeated by Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ), 72-56, in a non-league contest.
