Nevada High School Basketball - Battle Mountain topped by Pershing County

December 21, 2023: Battle Mountain, NV 89820

The Pershing County Mustangs basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Battle Mountain Longhorns to 34 in the Mustangs league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Wendover for a 2A Northern contest on Friday, December 22.

The Longhorns (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Falcons come into the 2A Northern contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Coral Academy of Science - Reno was defeated by North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA), 44-22, in a league contest.
