The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Francis Indian Warriors (St. Francis, SD) and the visiting Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD), observed St. Francis Indian's basketball team edge Little Wound by a margin of 67-60.
The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD). The Thorpes come into the A Region 7 challenge with a 4-3 record.
With the loss, Little Wound falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Mahpiya Luta (Pine Ridge, SD) to play the Crusaders in a A Region 7 bout on Monday, December 30. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Mahpiya Luta won 56-55 in their recent non-league bout against Wall (Wall, SD)
