The Little Wound Mustangs basketball squad (Kyle, SD), was outscored 70-54 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting St. Francis Indian Warriors (St. Francis, SD)

With the victory, St. Francis Indian advances its record to 9-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to Bennett County (Martin, SD) to meet the Warriors in a non-league battle on Friday, February 7. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 5-9. Bennett County lost 63-55 in their recent league battle against Kadoka (Kadoka, SD)

The Mustangs now own a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Custer for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 6. Little Wound will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 68-21 non-league win over Douglas (Box Elder, SD). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-3.
