In Thursday's league outing, the Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME) basketball squad felled the visiting Deering Rams (Portland, ME), by a margin of 55-42.
The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against South Portland (South Portland, ME). The Red Riots go into the non-league outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, South Portland was beaten by Thornton Academy (Saco, ME), 69-60, in a league outing.
The Rams now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cheverus for a AA North outing on Thursday, January 5.
