Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Deering Rams (Portland, ME), 54-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Portland upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host South Portland (South Portland, ME) to clash with the Red Riots in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 9. The Red Riots go into the bout with a record of 14-3. South Portland won 55-54 in their recent league bout against Gorham (Gorham, ME)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Scarborough Red Storm (Scarborough, ME) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Deering will attempt to upgrade on its 0-17 season record. The Red Storm go into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 79-21 league win over Massabesic (Waterboro, ME).
