The Springdale Dynamos basketball team (Springdale, PA), was overwhelmed 59-22 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA)

The Vikings now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shady Side Academy for a WPIAL 3A 3 battle on Tuesday, January 3. Apollo Ridge will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-41 non-league win over Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.

The Dynamos (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA). The Centurions come into the WPIAL 2A 3 battle with a 6-1 record.
