In Thursday's league match, the host Harlan Hawks basketball team scored a decisive 70-49 triumph over the Stevens Falcons.

In their next game, the Hawks meet the Sotomayor Wildcats (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 match, on Friday, December 30. Harlan will attempt to better on its 17-3 season record.
