North Carolina High School Basketball - Shelby overwhelmed by Crest

The Crest Chargers basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Shelby Golden Lions to 45 in the Chargers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Chargers now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burns for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Crest will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-18 non-league win over Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.
The Golden Lions (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league contest with a 1-7 record.
