With the victory, Crest improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Huss (Gastonia, NC) to confront the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Huss won 62-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC)

Next up, the Golden Lions confront the Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Shelby will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
