The Bay Port Pirates basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Green Bay Preble Hornets to 56 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kimberly for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Bay Port will meet a Papermakers team coming off a 74-67 league loss to Appleton North (Appleton, WI). The Papermakers record now stands at 4-3.
The Hornets (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mosinee (Mosinee, WI). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Mosinee ran past Northland Pines (Eagle River, WI), 79-35, in a league contest.
