Bay Port Pirates (Green Bay, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Green Bay Preble Hornets (Green Bay, WI), 78-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Bay Port upgrades its record to 7-12 on the season. The Pirates travel to Sheboygan North (Sheboygan, WI) to play the Golden Raiders in a Fox River Classic bout on Monday, February 5. The Golden Raiders go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Sheboygan North lost 46-43 in their recent league bout against Ashwaubenon (Green Bay, WI)

Next up, the Hornets play the Pulaski Red Raiders (Pulaski, WI) in a Fox River Classic bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Green Bay Preble will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 79-70 non-league loss to Appleton East (Appleton, WI).
