The Kasson-Mantorville Komets basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Lourdes Eagles to 39 in the Komets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Komets now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faribault for a AAA Section 1 contest on Thursday, December 28. Kasson-Mantorville will battle a Falcons team coming off a 74-63 league win over Austin (Austin, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 3-2.
The Eagles (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rochester STEM Academy (Rochester, MN). The enter the non-league contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Rochester STEM Academy was routed by Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN), 84-38, in a non-league contest.
