The Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN) basketball nipped the visiting Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN), 61-56 in Friday's non-league test.
The Eagles (5-18) will now prepare for their test against Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN). The Cougars go into the AA Section 1 test with a 12-9 record.
The Komets now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Albert Lea for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Kasson-Mantorville will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 87-60 non-league loss to Winona (Winona, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 1-18.
