With the victory, Wayne Country Day improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Harrells Christian Academy won 81-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwood Temple Academy (Fayetteville, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots (Kinston, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Plain challenge, on Friday, January 5. Wayne Christian will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record.
