The Schaumburg Saxons basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Barrington Fillies/Broncos to 31 in the Saxons league triumph on Friday.

The Saxons now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elgin for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 26. Schaumburg will battle a Maroons team coming off a 41-32 league loss to West Chicago (West Chicago, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 6-6.

The Fillies/Broncos (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The Redhawks enter the non-league contest with a 5-9 record.
