Nebraska High School Basketball - Gretna East crushes Burke

December 22, 2023: Omaha, NE 68154

Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Burke Bulldogs (Omaha, NE), 64-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gretna East upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Griffins travel to Millard North (Omaha, NE) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Millard North won 62-23 in their recent league bout against Norfolk (Norfolk, NE)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Norfolk Panthers (Norfolk, NE) in a A District TBD bout, on Thursday, January 4. Burke will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 62-23 league loss to Millard North (Omaha, NE).
