Connecticut High School Basketball - Shepaug Valley crushes Northwestern Regional

The Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) basketball crushed the host Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT), 77-50 in Monday's league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Whitney RVT for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 26. Shepaug Valley will play a Owls team coming off a 80-49 non-league loss to East Haven (East Haven, CT). The Owls record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Northwestern Regional falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Newtown (Newtown, CT) to play the Nighthawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Newtown lost 75-52 in their recent non-league bout against Staples (Westport, CT)
