Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME), 69-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Caribou upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) to clash with the Ponies in a B North bout on Thursday, December 29. The Ponies go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Foxcroft Academy won 58-45 in their recent league bout against Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Hodgdon Hawks (Hodgdon, ME) in a C North bout, on Thursday, December 29. Fort Kent will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 83-29 non-league win over East Grand (Dansforth, ME).
