The Deer Isle-Stonington Mariners (Deer Isle, ME) basketball knocked off the visiting Narraguagus Knights (Harrington, ME), 49-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mariners (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Greenville (Greenville, ME). The Lakers go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Greenville went down by Schenck (East Millinocket, ME), 42-30, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Woodland for a C North test on Thursday, December 29. Narraguagus will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 71-61 league loss to Calais (Calais, ME). The Dragons record now stands at 2-2.
