Maine High School Basketball - Penobscot Valley tipped by Dexter

The Dexter Tigers basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Penobscot Valley Howlers to 41 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mattanawcook for a C North contest on Thursday, December 29. Dexter will meet a Lynx team coming off a 71-29 league win over George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Lynx record now stands at 3-1.
The Howlers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Pirates enter the C North contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Piscataquis was nudged by Valley (Bingham, ME), 60-35, in a non-league contest.
