In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Dexter Tigers basketball team scored a tight 34-27 triumph over the Penobscot Valley Howlers.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Old Orchard Beach Seagulls (Old Orchard Beach, ME) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 4. Dexter will attempt to better on its 17-1 season record. The Seagulls enter the match with a 14-3 record after their 39-36 non-league win over North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME).
With the defeat, Penobscot Valley moves to 20-2 on the year.
