Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Washingtonville Wizards (Washingtonville, NY), 77-76 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Monroe-Woodbury upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Kingston (Kingston, NY) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Wizards play the Monticello Panthers (Monticello, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Washingtonville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
