The Anthony Wildcats (Anthony, TX) basketball nipped the host Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX), 47-43 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Chaparral got by Irvin (El Paso, TX), 58-35, in a non-league test.

The Rangers now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Ruidoso for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Riverside will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 66-33 non-league loss to Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 6-4.
