In Wednesday's league outing, the Baldwin Bears (Wailuku, HI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Maui Sabers (Kahului, HI), by a count of 62-34.

The Bears (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against King Kekaulike (Pukalani, HI). The Na Ali'i go into the Maui I outing with a 1-8 record. In their last outing, King Kekaulike was crushed by Kamehameha Maui (Pukalani, HI), 55-43, in a league outing.

The Sabers now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lahainaluna for a Maui I outing on Friday, December 29. Maui will clash with a Lunas squad coming off a 49-38 league loss to Kamehameha Maui (Pukalani, HI). The Lunas record now stands at 2-8.
