Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Maui Sabers (Kahului, HI) and the visiting Baldwin Bears (Wailuku, HI), saw Maui's basketball squad hold off Baldwin by a tally of 60-55.

With the victory, Maui improves its record to 4-10 on the campaign. The Sabers travel to King Kekaulike (Pukalani, HI) to confront the Na Ali'i in a Maui I challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Na Ali'i come into the challenge with a record of 4-12. King Kekaulike lost 70-65 in their recent league challenge against Lahainaluna (Lahaina, HI)

Next up, the Bears confront the Maui Sabers (Kahului, HI) in a Maui I challenge, on Monday, February 5. Baldwin will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record. The Sabers come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 57-52 league win over King Kekaulike (Pukalani, HI).
