The Fort Fairfield Tigers (Fort Fairfield, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Katahdin Cougars (Sherman Station, ME), 56-35 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Madawaska (Madawaska, ME). The Owls go into the C North test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Madawaska walloped Washburn (Washburn, ME), 65-40, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Kent for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Katahdin will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 53-50 non-league loss to Easton (Easton, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.
