The South Caldwell Spartans basketball team (Hudson, NC), was toppled 47-39 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC)
The Red Tornadoes now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alexander Central for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. Hickory will confront a Cougars team coming off a 60-33 non-league win over Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 12-0.
