The Stearns Minutemen tipped the visiting Piscataquis Pirates basketball team by a final score of 28-27 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Minutemen face the Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 29. Stearns will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
With the defeat, Piscataquis moves to 1-4 on the year. The Pirates travel to Schenck (East Millinocket, ME) to face the Wolverines in a non-league game on Thursday, January 4.
