In Friday's non-league outing, the Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME) basketball squad edged the visiting Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME), by a count of 47-44.
The Pirates (3-13) will now prepare for their outing against Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Wolverines go into the non-league outing with a 8-8 record. In their last outing, Schenck was tipped by Machias (Machias, ME), 54-41, in a non-league outing.
The Minutemen now hold a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Schenck for a D North outing on Wednesday, February 7.
