In Friday's non-league contest, the host St. Edward Green Wave basketball team scored a big 64-32 triumph over the Westmont Sentinels.

The Green Wave (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Resurrection (Chicago, IL). The Bandits go into the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Resurrection smashed Seneca (Seneca, IL), 54-49, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Sentinels confront the Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Westmont will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Fighting Irish go into the contest with a 10-3 record after their 58-18 non-league win over Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park, IL).
