In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Surry Central Golden Eagles basketball team scored a good 50-37 triumph over the Starmount Rams.

The Golden Eagles (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, North Wilkes was topped by Watauga (Boone, NC), 36-20, in a non-league contest.
