The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) and the visiting Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC), observed Surry Central's basketball team knock off Starmount by a score of 56-44.
The Golden Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Sauras come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record.
In their next game, the Rams battle the West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Starmount will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
