The Red Riots now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sanford for a AA South battle on Tuesday, January 3. South Portland will battle a Spartans team coming off a 56-54 non-league loss to Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME). The Spartans record now stands at 1-5.

The Mustangs (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Region (Naples, ME). The Lakers come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Lake Region trounced Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME), 53-45, in a league battle.
