Illinois High School Basketball - Tuscola fells Clinton

Tuscola Warriors (Tuscola, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Clinton Maroons (Clinton, IL), 62-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tuscola upgrades its record to 15-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL) to clash with the Rams in a Central Illinois bout on Friday, January 5. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Shelbyville won 67-44 in their recent non-league bout against Christ Our Rock Lutheran (Centralia, IL)

Next up, the Maroons clash with the Heyworth Hornets (Heyworth, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 14-1 season record.
