Illinois High School Basketball - Dupo ripped by Maryville Christian

The Maryville Christian Lions basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Dupo Tigers to 16 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westfair Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Maryville Christian will battle a team coming off a 60-35 non-league loss to Liberty (Liberty, IL). The record now stands at 10-1.

The Tigers (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Marissa/Coulterville (Marissa, IL). The Meteors enter the Cahokia - Kaskaskia contest with a 6-5 record.
