North Carolina High School Basketball - Thomas Jefferson winner over Highland Tech

The Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) basketball felled the host Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), 75-64 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Gryphons (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Yellow Jackets go into the 1A/2A Southern Piedmont test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Bessemer City thwarted Comenius (Fort Mill, SC), 77-73, in a non-league test.

The Rams now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Burns for a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont contest on Wednesday, January 3. Highland Tech will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 74-65 non-league loss to Chesnee (Chesnee, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-8.
