New York High School Basketball - La Salle Institute can't hold off Mekeel Christian Academy

The Mekeel Christian Academy Lions basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host La Salle Institute Cadets to 57 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western New York Maritime Charter for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20.
The Cadets (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Genesee (Camillus, NY). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, West Genesee edged Henninger (Syracuse, NY), 79-49, in a league contest.
