New York High School Basketball - Mekeel Christian Academy can't hold off La Salle Institute

The La Salle Institute Cadets basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Mekeel Christian Academy Lions to 58 in the Cadets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cadets now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niskayuna for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 2. La Salle Institute will battle a Silver Warriors team coming off a 56-48 non-league win over Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY). The Silver Warriors record now stands at 18-4.
