In Thursday's non-league outing, the St. Edward Beavers (St. Edward, NE) basketball squad nipped the host Palmer Tigers (Palmer, NE), by a margin of 41-40.
The Beavers (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Twin Loup (Sargent, NE). The Wolves go into the non-league outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Twin Loup got by Elba (Elba, NE), 76-14, in a non-league outing.
