Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting San Marcos Knights (San Marcos, CA), 53-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rancho Bernardo upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Carlsbad lost 76-54 in their recent non-league bout against Whitney (Rocklin, CA)

In their next game, the Knights face the Poway Titans (Poway, CA) in a game, on Saturday, January 6. San Marcos will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record.
