Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), 76-13 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cherokee Bluff upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Flowery Branch lost 62-36 in their recent non-league bout against Chestatee (Gainesville, GA)

Next up, the Knights play the East Forsyth Broncos (Gainesville, GA) in a AAAA Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Johnson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 64-50 non-league loss to Etowah (Woodstock, GA).
