The Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), 72-9 in Friday's league test.
The Bears (6-1) will now prepare for their test against East Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Vikings go into the AAAA Region 8 test with a 1-6 record.
The Knights now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to East Jackson for a non-league test on Saturday, December 9. Johnson will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 55-32 non-league win over Monsignor Donovan Catholic (Athens, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.
