Lee Park Prep Knights (Monroe, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC), 49-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lee Park Prep upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Knights host Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Westminster Catawba Christian lost 49-42 in their recent non-league bout against Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Mariners play the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Jackson Day will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 55-42 non-league win over Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC).
