The Lee County Yellow Jackets basketball team (Sanford, NC), dropped 47-37 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC)

The Jaguars now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Triton for a non-league battle on Friday, December 29. Overhills will battle a Hawks team coming off a 65-34 non-league win over Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 7-3.

The Yellow Jackets (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Bucks come into the non-league battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Hoke County dropped by Triton (Erwin, NC), 65-34, in a non-league battle.
