The Proviso East Pirates basketball team scored 30 points and held the host Willowbrook Warriors to 14 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pirates now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside-Brookfield for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Proviso East will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 27-16 league loss to Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
The Warriors (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Leyden ran past Proviso East (Maywood, IL), 26-22, in a league contest.
