The Hononegah Indians basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Belvidere North Blue Thunder to 36 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Indians now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Barrington for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Hononegah will play a Fillies/Broncos team coming off a 57-48 non-league win over Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Fillies/Broncos record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Belvidere North falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Blue thunder travel to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Knights go into the game with a record of 12-1. Kaneland won 89-85 in their recent non-league game against Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL)
